FEB 4- putting glass dishes onto hot stovetops= glass shattering everywhere, melting the carpets and thank gosh not going into my eye!

FEB 3- On a walk on campus,For myself I hold no preferences among flowers, so long as they are wild, free, spontaneous

FEB 1- On our way to GASPARILLA( PIRATE FESTIVAL!!) creepy trucker guy trying to hit on us, young, impressionable UF students- SHAME!

BACK TO BUSINESS!

JAN 30-Exercise is a dirty word. Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

JAN 29- a recent additon to the collection and one that is old but fantastic.

Keeping up with time

UPDATE- computer cord wont be in until the 28th! This is killing me since my life is on that computer basically. Its a wonderful feeling for those who have never felt it( feel the sarcasm in that~)
So in word format this is what has been oging on-
1. Classes are going well
2. Looking for summer jobs/internships in the Tampa region since the BF decided to stay there for the summer.

4. Have recently dis coved a wonderful new recipe for Strawberry Shortcake

INGREDIENTS

1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 cup cream
Butter
Whipped cream

DIRECTIONS

Combine strawberries and sugar; set aside. In a large bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly. In another bowl, beat egg; add cream. Add to crumb mixture, stirring only until moist. Pat into a greased 8-in. square or round baking pan. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack. Just before serving, split cake in two. butter bottom layer; spoon half of the berries over butter. Replace second layer and spoon remaining berries on top. Cut into individual servings; top each with whipped cream.

SUNDAY-After sheer exhaustion I opted for a piggy back ride provided by the none-other-PuertoRican -stair climber himself, Francisco up to my room above!
